Since 2003, when the idea was revived, “Meatless Monday” has grown into a global movement powered by a growing network of participating individuals, hospitals, schools, worksites and restaurants in many countries around the world.
One of the reasons I strongly suggest adhering to this trend is because, according to many sources, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, with around 600,000 deaths each year!
A meatless diet, or one which is low in animal sourced protein, greatly contributes to your heart health, and overall health!
So, please consider it, even if for this reason alone!
